BGT Psychotherapy Collaborative is looking for 1-2 highly skilled therapists licensed in North Carolina or Pennsylvania to join our team!


Psychotherapists at BGT collaborate to build a case load of 16-22 weekly clients under BGT's branding, operating systems, policies, and standards of care. BGT has a mixed fee system, with North Carolina Commercial Insurance Contracts (and a national Cigna contract) for individuals. BGT is Self Pay for Couples, Relationships & Family Systems.


BGT is a base-line virtual practice, with therapists located in NC and PA, our therapists work remotely, hybrid, and/or In-Person with office spaces they rent. Flexible scheduling & hours.

Job Details

  • Classification: All employees are classified as W-2, commission based employees. Benefit eligibility scales with caseload size.
  • W-2, Compensation: All therapists at BGT receive 65% of their total generated revenue as their gross wages (before payroll tax and/or benefits deductions)
  • Pay Frequency: All employees are paid biweekly on Fridays.
  • Status: Employees are classified as part time until they reach their first caseload milestone, at which point they are switched to full time for and they are eligible for benefits.
  • Location: Fully Remote, Hybrid or fully In-Person psychotherapists are welcome to apply.


Requirements

  • Have a Masters Degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Counseling, etc).
  • Have at least 2 years post graduation clinical experience.
  • Be licensed to provide psychotherapy in North Carolina or PA. License must be active and in good standing. Ideal candidates are fully licensed, but provisionally licensed therapists with advanced skills and experience will be considered too.
  • Be able to provide 3 professional references.
  • Ideal candidates have experience and competency in working with marginalized communities, couples, and adult family systems.
  • Ideal candidates are aligned with the following therapeutic orientations: trauma informed, relational, psychodynamic, EMDR, EFT, IFS, Gottman, ACT, ERP, narrative, mindfulness, harm reduction, and liberation based psychology.
  • Able to commit to at least 16 weekly client appointments.


Duties

  • Comply with professional license type and corresponding professional membership (NASW, AAMFT, APA, ACA, etc) organizations' Code of Ethics as well as state licensing board's standards of practice.
  • Familiarize with and integrate the use of BGT's policies with clients seen under BGT, including all client-facing documentation and procedures, as well as standard of care policies when providing psychotherapy under BGT.
  • Familiarize with and adhere to expectations and policies around clinical administration responsibilities and general administration responsibilities.
  • Maintain professional license in active, good standing at all times. Meet all license renewal requirements.
  • Maintain professional liability insurance (malpractice insurance, and general liability insurance if providing therapy in person)
  • Collaborate on growing caseload.
