Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. Hours are 1am-6:30am Mon-Fri with rotating Sat hours. This role is essential in supporting efficient warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping, receiving, and materials handling. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse distribution processes, heavy equipment operation, and a strong understanding of safety protocols such as OSHA standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
  • Load and unload shipments utilizing pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, and cranes as needed
  • Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, crane systems, and other machinery in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
  • Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse
  • Support inventory management through regular stock counts and updates in warehouse systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and best practices for heavy equipment operation
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows and improve overall productivity

Requirements

  • Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields preferred
  • Hands-on experience with order pickers, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy machinery is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and materials handling procedures
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control
  • Warehouse or construction experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility for shifts as scheduled
