As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Strategy Consulting practice within the Strategy & Technology Group (STG) vertical in Chicago, Illinois.

What The Day Will Look Like


As a Strategy Specialist you will:


  • Support project leaders and client teams in full lifecycle client engagements by contributing to the delivery of discrete workstreams and strategic initiatives
  • Performing data analysis and modeling to deliver in-depth insights, conclusions, and recommendations to clients
  • Preparing and participating in interviews with client and Aon colleagues
  • Developing client-facing materials (PowerPoint, Excel, Infographics, Written Narratives)
  • Supporting project leadership in synthesizing findings and identifying key insights from quantitative and qualitative research
  • Present observations optimally through the preparation of charts, graphs, visual elements, and written narrative
  • Work with senior management to develop proposals and create business development materials

How This Opportunity Is Different


These roles fall under Aon’s Early Career Development program, known as Launch. Building on the development colleagues receive in the role they are hired into; the Launch program is a supplemental development program for recent college recruits to mentor and develop future leaders of the firm. This 9-month development program begins every summer and includes in-person sessions, networking opportunities, self-study and global leader calls.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with majors in Economics, Finance, Math or another similarly quantitative/analytically oriented major or equivalent experience preferred.

Applicants for this role should graduate between Spring 2024 - Spring 2025 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Pay Transparency Law


The salary for this position us $71,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location
