About the position

As a Workforce Planning Coordinator within Global Gaming HR Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the seamless alignment of talent and operational needs across our fleet and shoreside teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and is passionate about using data and systems to drive smart, people-centered decisions. You'll collaborate closely with HR, Operations, Marketing and Scheduling teams to ensure our workforce plans are accurate, timely, and aligned with our commitment to delivering exceptional guest and employee experiences. Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Data Maintenance: Prepare and update crew schedules in alignment with operational needs and manning requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records in HR systems (e.g., CPS) and support data entry for workforce planning tools.
  • Monitor scheduling conflicts and escalate discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Schedule casino crew, taking into consideration their personal requests.
  • Schedule newly hired casino crew by following suggestion given by the talent acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the Operations & Marketing teams on Special projects/events/ dry docks.
  • Thoroughly assess project requirements and ensure crew scheduling is effectively aligned to meet those needs.
  • Workforce Planning Support: Assist with developing workforce planning efforts that are aligned with long-term staffing objectives in support of business plan and operational needs.
  • Support the collection and consolidation of workforce data for reporting and analysis.
  • Coordinate with HR Services, Talent Acquisition, and Brand teams to ensure timely staffing actions.
  • Assist in tracking attrition, contract expirations, and onboarding timelines.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to decision-makers in operations and HR on staffing needs and crew movement.
  • Identify course of action or make recommendations relating to staffing deviations based on observations (Crew requests, Schedule Adjustments, Skill changes).
  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate reports and summaries to support workforce planning decisions.
  • Maintain documentation of scheduling processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Support compliance by ensuring crew schedules are aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding scheduling and workforce data.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
  • Provide administrative support for workforce planning projects and initiatives.
  • ​Liaise with Shipboard Management, Port Agents, Manning Agents and internal business partners in order to make necessary arrangements for embarking/debarking crew.
  • Provide exemplary customer service while handling employee requests and questions.
  • Ensure timely distribution and reporting of crew assignments and relevant files to internal and external business/brand partners.
  • System & Tool Utilization: Apply workforce planning tools such as Tableau, CPS, and Excel to leverage data visualization in scheduling accuracy.
  • Assist in testing new system features or updates and provide feedback to improve tool functionality.
  • Help maintain data integrity across platforms by performing regular audits and validations.
  • Ensure accurate system updates, prepare ad hoc reports as requested by Management.

Requirements

  • Associate degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, analytical thinking, and familiarity with crew management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • 1+ year of forecasting or scheduling experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2-3 years of workforce planning experience, especially in demand planning and scheduling environments.
  • Working experience within cruise or general travel related industry preferred.
