Position Overview

Tencent Finance is looking for a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Treasury Associate to support our overseas treasury operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early‑career professionals with relevant internship experience to kickstart their finance career in a fast‑paced, cross‑border environment. You will assist in daily cash and liquidity management, collaborate with global and regional banking partners, and help ensure effective treasury controls across markets. This role offers strong exposure to multinational financial operations and the chance to grow within a dynamic team supporting global business expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily cash and liquidity management operations in overseas markets based on business needs.
  • Assist in maintaining communication with local banking partners and financial institutions to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Help prepare and review daily settlement reports and conduct basic financial analyses.
  • Monitor market trends and assist in updating internal processes and policies accordingly.
  • Work with tax and legal teams to stay updated on regulatory and financial compliance in various markets.
  • Collaborate closely with the headquarters treasury team to implement safe and efficient cash flow and financial control processes across regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, banking, or audit roles; candidates with no full‑time experience should have prior internship experience in treasury functions within financial institutions or multinational corporations.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese Mandarin, written and spoken, to manage internal and external stakeholders and documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Oracle or Python is advantageous.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Interest in treasury operations and global financial systems; professional certifications (CFA/ACCA) are a plus but not required.
