To plan, organize and control air operation activities, to ensure proper control and compliance in place during various stages including input, movement, process / sort, and output of all the air operation documents, to meet high service quality requirements at minimal cost.

  • Execute air freight shipments.
  • Receive and set up shipment booking from customers.
  • Liaise with internal air pricing for space booking.
  • Liaise with internal gateway team on consolidation.
  • Coordinate air exports shipment with appointed Airport CFS vendor .
  • Execute air exports documentation.
  • Monitor and ensure all shipments are uplifted.
  • Daily communication with the customers by email and telephone.
  • Coordinate with internal Air Pricing/Sales/Overseas to execute the shipment as per SOP’s requirements/Adhoc quote.
  • Coordinate space booking with Internal Air Pricing/Gateway team/*Carrier, Consolidation planning, ULD building arrangement.
  • Create initial bookings/shipment job in system.
  • Perform invoicing/accrual on shipments handled.
  • Arrange for shipment pick up with Airport CFS vendor.
  • Declare Outward Permit Declarations.
  • Sending out pre alert to customer & overseas offices.
  • Checking and monitoring shipment uplift.
  • Verify/create Payable Transactions on vendor local service provided.  
  • Response to query from client/overseas offices.
  • In-depth knowledge of the FedEx Logistics operations system.
  • Update Freightos/Briefcase Pricing with latest costs and sell rates .
  • Support sales with bids, quotes and follow up on proposals timely.
  • Maintains all required reports / paperwork, overtime duties schedule, performance reviews through established paperwork guidelines.
  • Act as an coordinator to communicate with sales team / airlines / overseas offices (internal and external) with regard to service improvement and exceptions handling.
  • Dedicate attention on project shipment space and load planning.
  • Ensure cost effectiveness of operations through established control of equipment, utilities and supplies.

  • GCE ‘O’ Level and above
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in customer service/operations in freight forwarding industry
  • Extensive experience in freight forwarding industry and strong understanding of local compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of operational requirements from customers, agents and sister offices as well as financial processes among them.
  • Familiar with workflow of airlines, cargo terminals, cross border trucking services and co-loaders.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and local languages (to be able to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates).
  • Cargowise.
  • Customs Competency Test.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal & communications skills.
  • Trustful and a team player.
  • Able to communicate with overseas office effectively and independently.
  • Customer & result focused.
