About the position

DiaMedical USA is a fast-growing medical equipment distributor looking to fill a Corporate Nurse Educator position in our Farmington Hills, MI office. At DiaMedical USA, our mission is to improve quality healthcare by acting as a turnkey solution for healthcare facilities and educational institutions, allowing clinicians and instructors to prioritize patient care. As one of the largest healthcare and education equipment providers in the country, we achieve our mission by simplifying the purchasing process and operating as a single source supplier of over 1,500 healthcare and instructional manufacturers. The Corporate Nurse Educator is responsible for providing in-house expertise and support, healthcare/simulation/education direction and consultation for all DiaMedical programs and initiatives. This is a multifunctional position which crosses multiple business units in order to provide the crucial technical and clinical expertise needed by the DiaMedical customer base, department Managers and the long-term strategic vision. This role will provide input and direction on a daily basis to nearly all aspects of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, conducts, and evaluates all product, service knowledge, and continuing education.
  • Shares knowledge and understanding of the DiaMedical product line.
  • Assists Customer Service and Sales teams in answering customer-related product questions.
  • Responsible for external communications and relationship building with associations that are in the simulation, healthcare education or related businesses.
  • Establishes relationships with Nursing Centers of influence to ensure DiaMedical remains credible and current in the healthcare and simulation education community.
  • Reviews and proofreads marketing materials for audience appropriateness and medical/clinical accuracy.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of website and social media content (products, testimonials, videos, white papers, blog posts, etc.).
  • Assists in new product development, evaluation, and portfolio expansion.
  • Assists with Tradeshow Selection and represents DiaMedical as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Nursing related field required and 5 years of experience in healthcare.
  • Active RN licensure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of current nursing and healthcare-related principles, practices and standards.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills with the ability to work with various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze and assess needs and translate into training.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Quality driven individual with attention to detail.
